TEMPORAL SAND BEACHES CHANGES IN ODESSA BAY OF THE BLACK SEA WITH DUE REGARD FOR ANTROPOGENOUS FACTORS IMPACT
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
During long term 1972–2011 morphology and dynamics of sandy beaches linear and volume sizes were researched along shores of the Black Sea between Danube Delta in West and Khersoness Cape in East. This sizes were found smaller on 10–50 % during period of 40 years along curvilinear and rectilinear shorelines. In total, active cliffs long and volume of alongshore drift flows diminished on 30 %, and as result diminished beach-sediment mass, on shores of Odessa Bay especially. Parameters of wave layer dredging were discovered and analyzed on different beaches sites.
