Abstract (English):
The main group of environmental risks associated with anthropogenic activities in the freezing seas should include the risks of development of the marine oil and gas complex (MNGK). Environmental threats to marine ecosystems from MNGK occur at the stages of exploration, production, storage and transportation of oil products. The specific conditions of freezing seas – drifting ice, low water and air temperatures, long periods with limited visibility, high-speed winds and extreme storms-increase the risks associated with the activities of the MNGK, making it difficult to take measures to prevent and eliminate situations associated with the emergence of environmental threats.
