The paper discusses main problems of integrated eco-geographical researches in the coastal zone of Baydaratskaya bay (Kara Sea) and main results of such researches undertaken by authors in 2005–2011. These researches are important to ensure the safety of gas-transport infrastructure and environment. The main hazardous processes in the vicinity of the main object of research, the underwater crossing of gas pipeline Bovanenkovo – Ukhta, are described. The most dangerous of them are the coastal erosion, the underwater coastal slope profile deformation and the ice gouging. The forecast of hazardous processes for this object is obtained. The coastal retrogradation of up to 100 meters in 30–35 years is predicted, as well as significant the underwater coastal slope profile deformation. Section of the most intensive ice gouging is marked out in the hummocking zone on the fast ice edge and in the drift ice zone near the fast ice edge.
